It Was All Yellow

I love how startling the yellow of a rapeseed field looks against the backdrop of a dark sky and I've tried to convey that sense of drama in this painting. These vivid yellow fields are such a feature of the English landscape, that it's hard to believe rapeseed has only been widely grown since the 1980s.
